This consultation is open from 29 July to 19 September 2025.
Do you support the introduction of a Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) requiring dogs to be kept on leads at all times in The Grove?
This proposal is in response to repeated reports of dog-related anti-social behaviour, including:
· On-lead dogs being approached or attacked by off-lead dogs.
· Owners and pets feeling unsafe or distressed.
· Incidents of dogs being out of control and owners not responding to calls for help.
We are seeking your views and experiences to help assess whether a PSPO is needed to ensure The Grove remains a safe and welcoming space for all users.
The draft order can be downloaded from our website at www.tunbridgewells.gov.uk/pspo
Please note: There are other nearby green spaces where dogs can be exercised off-lead, such as Calverley Grounds and The Commons.
