Consultation has concluded

The Council has heard from some residents saying they have difficulty parking where they live during the week, and asking us to increase the number of resident/limited wait parking bays along the lengths of Brook, Clifton and Oak Roads, reducing the amount of free parking in the area.

The general effect would be to increase parking capacity for resident permit holders from Monday to Friday in the day, reducing all-day parking by non-residents, some of whom may be rail commuters.
