Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre Car Park – Parking Changes (Summary)

What’s changing

The Council has introduced parking charges at the Tunbridge Wells Sports Centre car park.

When charges apply

• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 6pm

Parking charges

• Up to 1 hour: £1.10
• Up to 2 hours: £2.20
• Up to 3 hours: £3.30
• Up to 4 hours: £4.40
• Up to 24 hours: £5.50

Free parking exemptions

• Sports centre users get the first 3 hours free (if they register their visit).
• Staff can park for free in designated staff bays.
• 11 bays are reserved for school use and are free to use.

When this starts

• 1 July 2026

Why this is happening

To ensure the car park is mainly used by people visiting the sports centre.
