This consultation will close on 01 April 2025.

The purpose of this proposal is to recommend an adjustment to the operating hours of The Amelia Scott. Specifically, we propose that the facility closes two hours earlier on a Thursday at 6pm than the current time of 8pm. This change aims to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and better align with visitor patterns.

Due to low visitor numbers, from April 2025 the Council are proposing to change the opening hours at The Amelia Scott to:

Monday – Friday 9am-6pm

Saturday 9am-5pm

Sunday 10am-4pm

Adult education classes are not affected.
